All such correspondence or requests will be promptly forwarded to the intended person(s) as well as a record kept on file for audit purposes.

DIRECTORS

Robert W. Lanum

Chairman of the Foundation Board, has been a CPA and an attorney in the Southern Indiana area for over fifty years. He began practicing law as a partner in the firm of Fifer, Vogt & Lanum. He is now a retired senior partner in the regional law firm of Stites & Harbison. Mr. Lanum was both Mr. Ogle's attorney and friend and continues to uphold Mr. Ogle's vision for the Foundation. Mr. Lanum is a lifetime member of the Board and resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Norman Pfau Jr.

Vice-Chairman of the Foundation Board, is President and CEO of Geo. Pfau's Sons Co., Inc. located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mr. Pfau is an active member of the regional charitable community and joined the Board in 2002.  Current directorships include River Ridge Commerce Center (Vice Chairman), Indiana University Foundation, and Jeffersonville Enterprise Zone.  Past directorships include Indiana Manufacturers Association, Indiana State Chamber of Commerce, Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana Port Commission, Bank One Kentucky, Your Community Bank, Federal Reserve Bank - Louisville Branch, Bridgepoint Goodwill, and United Way.  Mr. Pfau resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Kevin Cecil

Secretary/Treasurer of the Foundation Board, he retired from banking in 2019 after 42 years.  During his banking career, he was President & CEO of Your Community Bank in New Albany, Indiana.  He remains active with several charitable organizations in Southern Indiana, and joined the Ogle Board in 2014.  He was awarded the Professional of the Year award from One Southern Indiana in 2011.  Mr. Cecil resides in New Albany, Indiana.

Cecile Blau

Foundation Board Member, is a former partner in the law firm of Stites & Harbison. Ms. Blau has served as the Supervising Judge for the Clark County Drug Treatment Center and as the Judge of the Clark County Superior Court No. 2. Ms. Blau is the newest member of the Foundation's Board, joining in 2008. Ms. Blau resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Kent W. Lanum

Foundation Board Member, was named to the Foundation's Board beginning in 2012 along with his new title as President & CEO of the Foundation. Mr. Lanum had known Paul Ogle while growing up through Paul's association with his father as his attorney and in the later years during the Foundation's initial years. He has been with the Foundation as its first full-time employee since 2007. See staff description below for more details.

Steven R. Stemler

Foundation Board Member, is President and Owner of The Stemler Corporation, a mechanical contracting company located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. From 2006 until 2018, Mr. Stemler served as the Indiana State Representative for the 71st District of Indiana, serving as a member of the Ways & Means Committee. Currently, Mr. Stemler serves on the Board of Directors of First Savings Bank, a subsidiary of First Savings Financial Group holding corporation and as a member of the Board of Directors of First Savings Financial Group Holding Corporation, serving on the Executive Committee, as Chairman of the Mortgage Compliance and Governance Committee, and as Vice-Chairman and a member of the Board Credit Committee.  Mr. Stemler also served as a member of the Jeffersonville City Council, serving as Council President. Mr. Stemler has served on the boards of Community Bank Shares of Indiana, serving as Vice-Chairman and River Ridge Commerce Center, serving as Chairman. Mr. Stemler has served as a Commissioner of the Ports of Indiana. Mr. Stemler joined the Ogle Foundation Board in 2015. Mr. Stemler resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana.


OGLE FOUNDATION STAFF

Kent W. Lanum

President & CEO as well as an Ogle Foundation Board Member, he has been with the Foundation since 2007 in the role of Executive Director and then named to his current positions beginning in 2012. He holds a BA in Economics from DePauw (1983) and both an MBA (1987) and a separate MA (2006) degree in Computer Resources & Information Management from Webster University.

He has been the President of the Donors Forum of Kentuckiana; Chairman of the Board for Leadership Southern Indiana from 2010-2012; Board Member of the Indiana Philanthropic Alliance (2008-2014); the Kentucky Center for the Arts Foundation (2015-2017) and Governor Appointee to the State of Indiana’s Regional Works Council (2013-2017).

He is currently a member of One Southern Indiana (1si) Board of Directors, the Board Chairman of River Heritage Conservancy/Origin Park and Founding Board Member/Secretary for Endeavor Midwest.
Kent has been the recipient of the Indiana University Southeast Chancellor’s Medallion Award in 2018 for lifetime achievements; the National and Indiana Distinguished Leadership Awards from the National/Indiana Leadership Associations in 2014 and 2013 respectively. In 2013, he was named Business Professional of the Year and Rising Star Award in 2004 by One Southern Indiana. Lastly, he was honored to be selected by the general Louisville Metro public in 2010, as one of the 108 influential "Connectors" in the Kentuckiana Region by the Leadership Louisville Connector Project.

Mr. Lanum has lived his entire life in the Southern Indiana area and resides with his wife, Dalene, and their son Reagan William. As a note of interest, Dalene Lanum’s first job after high school was a job working for Mr. Ogle at Silgas too!


Donna White Eswine

The Foundation's Office Manager and was hired in the fall of 2009. She holds a BS in Business Administration from Indiana State University. She is a Member of Leadership Southern Indiana; Board Member for New Life Christian Missions in Kerala, India; Member, American Association of Notaries; Member, Kentuckiana Donors Forum; and an active member of Southeast Christian Church.

 

Mrs. Eswine has always lived in Southern Indiana. She currently lives in the Georgetown area with her husband of 34 years, Vern Eswine. Their youngest daughter, Darian lives in the area with her husband, Pearce, and their young son, Sullivan. The couple’s eldest daughter, Miriam Rosemary, died in January of 2006 after a 25 month battle with children’s cancer.
